Welcome to Rome! The capital of Italy is renowned worldwide for its art, architecture and culture.
On arrival at the airport, you will get a SIC transfer from Airport to your hotel. Check-In to the hotel. Remaining day is free at your leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
After the breakfast, the day is free at your leisure. Spend the day as you wish. Alternatively set-out for the Coliseum and Ancient Rome Tour.
The meeting point of your tour is the small square above Colosseo Metro (Blue Line). Reach the meeting point 15 minutes before the departure of the tour. Vacationers with walking difficulty may find this tour difficult.
Your tour will commence from Oppian Hill, one of the famous “Seven Hills” that offers spectacular views of the Colosseum, a prominent landmark and the center of the ancient city. Climb down the hill, catching spectacular views of the Colosseum. We will skip the line and fast track past the crowds. Next, you will be taken for a visit to the Arch of Constantine, which spans the Via Triumphalis. It is the route Emperors took while returning to the city in triumph. Afterwards, visit the most famous hill of Rome, Palatine Hill. Click some pictures of the Forum and Nero’s Circus Maximus, the venue for the chariot races. Climb down and walk along the Via Sacra or Sacred Way, which crosses Forum and walked by the Emperors.
Conclude your day with a visit to the temple where you will see the altar dedicated to Julius Cesar and where visitors still offer flowers and light candles. In the afternoon, return to your resort. Overnight stay at hotel.

Next in your itinerary is a visit to the wine cellar of Tenuta Poggio il Castellare where you can sample traditional Tuscan lunch and three local wines.
Walk through the beautiful streets of Pienza, which offers a great lesson in urban planning. The small town commands the glory of being the home to Pope Pius II and under his auspices. The town was demolished and rebuilt using the best practices of Renaissance architecture. The town has also been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. While walking the main streets you will see grocers selling varieties of pecorino cheese. You can also spot an array of antique shops on the way.
Explore Montepulciano and appreciate the eternal beauty of this small town manifested through its impressive architecture. Situated in the center of the town, the Piazza Grande, dominated by the cathedral, which houses several religious works of art. The town is also home to several public and religious architectural masterpieces that include the emblematic Tower of Pulcinella. Return back to your hotel in the evening for overnight stay.
Today the time before you set out for the airport is at your leisure. Later reach the airport to board a flight back to home or to an onward destination.
